Replace an Existing Rudder System:
Not happy with your current rudder? Replace it! You can replace as much or as little of the old system you like. Consider some or all of these parts: Performance Toe Pilot Foot Control, one of the many Blade Housings, a Foil Blade and a Vertical Adjustment Kit.

New Rudder Installation:
Never had a rudder? Add one! Use this basic checklist to get started: Performance Toe Pilot Foot Control, one of the many Blade Housings, a Foil Blade, the Cable Housing Kit and a Vertical Adjustment Kit.

Tips: The Tandem Foil Blade may be a better choice for high stern kayaks, and some sit-on-tops, due to the longer blade length. Few Sit-on-tops require the Vertical Adjustment Kit, most will not. Some sit-on-tops may be difficult to outfit with a complete SmartTrack Control System. Make a careful assessment and contact Tom for additional information if needed.
